One of our favorite things to do here in Oregon is the pumpkin patches. They are great! You'd never buy one at the store again! Since we live in farming country you have access to so many straight off the farm things. We have several pumpkin patches all around us. We found one we love that is less busy and less commercialized. They have a fun hay ride that takes you out to the pumpkins. You pick your own then they pick you up and take you back to the main farm area. There is a tractor pull with carts on it for the kids, food, farm fresh eggs you can buy, etc. Last year they even had farm animals to pet and miniature horses to ride. It is a mile from our house and the kids look forward to it every year.
